Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is handled in Matcha app.
What We Collect
We don't ask you for your name, email, or any account. Your currencies, numbers, and settings stay on your device.
Matcha doesn't send your conversions or settings to us, and we don't sell your personal information.
Advertising
The free version of Matcha shows ads. They are provided by Google AdMob. To show ads and measure how they perform, Google and its advertising partners may collect:
- A device identifier, such as the Advertising Identifier (IDFA), only if you allow tracking when the app asks
- Information about your device, such as its model, operating system, and language
- Approximate location based on your IP address
- How you interact with ads, such as views and taps
Your choices
- Tracking: Matcha asks for your permission before allowing tracking. You can change this anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Europe, the UK, and Switzerland: you are asked for consent before personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice anytime in Matcha → Settings → Ad Privacy.
- United States: you can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for advertising in Matcha → Settings → Ad Privacy, where available.
- No ads: Matcha Pro removes all ads. Pro users' devices don't request ads.

Subscriptions
To help me manage Pro subscriptions, I use RevenueCat. Purchases are processed by Apple, and RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and your purchase history. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for more information.
Exchange Rates
To get the latest exchange rates, Matcha connects to our server. The request only includes the currency to look up, plus what any internet connection includes, such as your IP address.
